The OSBI updates sheriffs’ offices and SDA (Self Defense Act) instructors of legislation that passed after the close of the legislative session each year. Many instructors expressed interest in being made aware of legislation prior to its passage. The OSBI tracks legislation that would impact the SDA law book published annually.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) will notify sheriffs’ offices and current SDA instructors of all signed SDA gun laws prior to publishing the SDA law book.
