Sen. Lonnie Paxton calls for Removal of OK2A Leader
At the request of Don Spencer, President of OK2A, here is a Press Release from Sen. Lonnie Paxton of Tuttle, Oklahoma.
From a KFOR story -online:
KFOR reached out to Spencer seeking comment, leaving a message on his voicemail, as well as sending him an email, but have not yet heard back.
Spencer provided KFOR the following statement from Pastor Tom Vineyard, Chairman of the OK2A Board of Directors, when we asked him for a response to Paxton’s remarks:
“The Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association stands fully united in its support of Mr. Don Spencer as president.
Comments that were made by Mr. Spencer, about a month ago, paraphrasing Founding Fathers quotes is not a violation of ethics for the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association and should not be misconstrued as, in any way, inciting anyone to any type of violence.
Don Spencer has consistently promoted respectful engagement with legislators on both sides of the political aisle and routinely works through the political process in order to enact pro Second Amendment and other liberty issue legislation for the betterment of all Oklahomans.”
