What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you fill out a contact form or subscribe to the newsletter. When you click our Donate Button, there is a detailed form to fill out. This is required by Oklahoma law. We have a texting service where your name and mobile number is required. All of this information is kept only for the purposes stated above. None of your names, email addresses, phone numbers or anything else will ever be sold or rented to anyone.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To send newsletters (that you opted in for), or blog posts
• To process your donations to OK2A
• To send you text messages (that you requested), about information relating to gun laws/news

How do we protect your information?

The website is kept up to date and monitored by security software and newsletter software provider provides their own security.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.  This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.  We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

Retention Policy

We will retain your personal information on our systems only for as long as we need to. We keep contact information (such as mailing list information) until a user unsubscribes or requests that we delete that information from our systems. If you choose to unsubscribe from a mailing list, we may keep certain limited information about you so that we may honor your request.

OK2A will not delete personal data from logs or records necessary to the operation, development, or archives of OK2A.

For those people who make donations or join as members, your information is obtained as requirement of the Oklahoma Ethics Commission. Credit card information is deleted upon authorization use. OK2A does not sell personal information.

We may include links to third party websites on our website.  These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies.  We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
