In January, a US Law Shield member requested some information about Turner Falls—more specifically, he wanted to know if there were any firearm restrictions at Turner Falls. Oklahoma state law allows concealed and/or open carry at all municipal and state parks, so it was troubling to discover that the municipal code and park regulations on the Turner Falls website states that all guns were banned at Turner Falls Municipal Park. Turner Falls is a destination spot for Texas and Oklahoma families, and has been for a 100 years. Robert Robles from US Law Shield reached out to the Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association and explained the situation.
